Scouting Report
Had good game-calling skills, sound leadership qualities and the ability to be a solid receiver. At the dish, he featured plenty of strike-zone judgment and a little pop. Lacked consistency as a hitter and was not good at making solid contact to all fields, which limited his appearances in the bigs. Lacked strength for the catching position.
Long Range Potential: Journeyman catcher.
