The Nationals selected Law's contract from Triple-A Rochester on Tuesday, Andrew Golden of The Washington Post reports.
Law signed a minor-league contract with the Nationals on Wednesday and received an invitation to major-league spring training, Robert Murray of FanSided.com reports.
Owns good pedigree, since his dad was a pitcher. Is incredibly deceptive and hides the ball well from batters. His breaking ball, a sharp curve, is his true out-pitch in the bigs. While his stuff is good and he is very tough on right-handers, he will need to improve his weapons against left-handed bats in order to maximize big-league production.
Long Range Potential: Deceptive reliever.
