Owns the ability to generate a lot of strikeouts and pitch late in ball games at the minor-league level. Can be particularly tough on left-handed batters. Gets into trouble when he starts walking too many batters, so control is an issue for him. Also, his repertoire is not strong enough to be used regularly.
