Has been used as both a starter and reliever in the minor leagues, but appears to have found his niche pitching out of the bullpen. Is a candidate to pitch late in games due to good strikeout ability. Was not nearly as dominant as a starting pitcher, which was due to a lack of variety and depth in his pitching repertoire. Can get into trouble in MLB when he starts walking too many batters.
