Manager Kevin Cash said Friday that Chang was diagnosed with a severe oblique strain and is expected to be sidelined 6-to-8 weeks, Marc Topkin of the Tampa Bay Times reports.

Scouting Report
Is a solid hitter with occasional power and the ability to hit for average. Is also an excellent athlete capable of playing all over the field defensively. Needs to cut down on his strikeout totals and utilize his speed a little more.
