The Twins placed Weiss (shoulder) on the 15-day injured list Thursday.
Scouting Report
Owns a decent-sized (6-3, 210 pounds) frame. His fastball/slider/curve repertoire can be awfully difficult to hit against (at all levels). Can be used as a closer in the minor leagues. Has a history of elbow issues, which he must overcome if he is to maximize output in Major League Baseball. His changeup is not a great offering, which limits his rotation possibillities.
Long Range Potential: Decent reliever.
