Bieber underwent Tommy John surgery on his right elbow Friday, Tom Withers of the Associated Press reports.
The Guardians transferred Bieber (elbow) to the 60-day injured list from the 15-day IL on Wednesday.
A smooth right-hander with an easy delivery, he owns a quality, four-pitch arsenal. His fastball and curve are excellent offerings, while his slider and changeup are also good pitches. Displays excellent control and command. Will need to add more bulk and get physically stronger in order to maximize his innings and output in Major League Baseball. Also, sometimes he could afford to waste a few more pitches (he is always around the plate).
Long Range Potential: Quality right-hander with upside.
