Scouting Report
Had tremendous baseball instincts. Was silky-smooth both at the plate and in the field. Hit for power and average with great patience. Could steal bases and rarely get caught. Was a quality outfielder with an accurate arm. Knee problems forced him to become a DH (or play a corner outfield position, after years of playing center field). Was somewhat prone to injury. Could be a bit lazy as a fielder and did not always like to play through pain.
Long Range Potential: Outstanding switch-hitter and outfielder.
