Scouting Report
Was one of the great clutch hitters of his era and a true RBI machine. Owned a lethal combination of plate patience and a monster power stroke. Was also a born leader. Was arguably the best DH of all time. Saw his eye and bat speed decline with age, though he made a surge very late in his career. Was a complete non-factor on the basepaths and never had a great glove for first base. Struck out a lot early in his career.
Long Range Potential: All-time great DH, clutch run producer and leader.
