Marcano has made San Diego's Opening Day roster, Kevin Acee of The San Diego Union-Tribune reports.
Marcano is being considered for the Padres' Opening Day roster in light of a strong showing in spring camp, AJ Cassavell of MLB.com reports.
Marcano started in center field Sunday against the Reds and went 0-for-2 with a walk and a run. He has also played right field, left field, second base, third base and shortstop this spring.
Marcano was added to the Padres' 40-man roster Friday.
Marcano will be part of the Padres' 60-man summer camp.
