Scouting Report
An excellent base stealer, he could also hit with power--especially doubles and triples. Was selective enough at the dish to produce big numbers. Was also an athletic and flashy fielder with a great arm. Was quite prone to injury for stretches of his career, especially with his legs (his meal ticket). Made his fair share of errors, mainly because of a lack of concentration. Had the type of energy that resonated with the rest of his teammates in the dugout, but sometimes it would upset opponents. Was one of the top leadoff men of his generation.
Long Range Potential: Excellent, flashy table-setting infielder.
