Generated nasty movement of his high-90's fastball from the left side, which made him nearly unhittable against left-handed bats when he was on. Could start or relieve. Injuries were a big problem throughout his career. Command was also a major issue, as it prevented him from becoming a bigger factor on a big-league pitching staff.
