Scouting Report
An excellent power hitter from the catching position, he had a great batting eye with the ability to be an RBI man. Was consistent and called a very good game. Was a born leader. Was able to carry a heavy load behind the plate. Got run on far too easily from time to time when his throwing and timing were off. Dealt with vision issues early on in his MLB career. Lost his batting prowess over time due to age and wear and tear.
Long Range Potential: Quality, classy catcher, workhorse and leader.
