Scouting Report
Was a reliable third baseman, a doubles machine who could both bat for a high average and hit the long ball, a good base-runner who could steal a base and also a clutch RBI producer. Drew his share of walks. Made a few too many errors at the hot corner. Sometimes he pressed too much at the plate, leading to high strikeout totals and big hitting slumps. A back issue became a major problem over time (and ended his MLB career prematurely).
Long Range Potential: Excellent, all-around third baseman, when healthy.
