Scouting Report
Was a very good contact hitter with solid power, some speed and a great glove. Did not strike out much. Had great instincts and got the most out of his ability. Hustled constantly. His bat speed and plate coverage were fantastic. Wore down physically over the long haul due to his all-out style (and lack of ideal size for the big leagues). Had occasional lapses on the basepaths. Was not a natural athlete, so he always worked extra hard for everything he achieved in MLB. Eventually, injuries led to a sharp decline and his eventual retirement.
Long Range Potential: Star second baseman, grinder and team leader.
