Scouting Report
The son of former big-league shortstop Jose Valentin, he has good pedigree and smart baseball instincts. Switch-hits well to all fields (from either side). Displays both home-run power and speed. Lacks ideal size for an everyday infielder in Major League Baseball. Needs to start turning his doubles power into more home runs (and his speed into more stolen bases) to maximize output in MLB.
Long Range Potential: Backup infielder.
