Scouting Report
Called a good game, and displayed solid run-producing ability at the minor-league level. In the big leagues, he could get hot with the bat and also serve as a backup catcher. He lacked offensive consistency and was too often streaky at the dish, which hurt his ability to carve out more at-bats for himself in the bigs. Also, he lacked power for a catcher.
Long Range Potential: Journeyman catcher.
