Was a consistent strike thrower. Had a lot of guile on the mound. Could be used as a starter or reliever, which added to his overall value on a pitching staff in Major League Baseball. Lacked ideal size for a pitcher (5'10", 195 pounds), so he lacked a bit of stamina at the highest level. Also lacked consistency.
Long Range Potential: Versatile journeyman right-hander.
