Scouting Report
Was one of the best sluggers and run producers of all time, and owned prodigious home-run power. His mere presence in the batting order helped his team. Was a good base-runner who could steal bases. Also owned a tremendous arm on the left side of the infield. His defense declined over the years, which was the main reason he moved over from shortstop to third base. Did not always perform to the best of his abilities under the spotlight (and in the clutch). Controversy, mostly off the field, dogged him throughout his MLB career.
Long Range Potential: All-time great slugger.
