Scouting Report
Was a consistent strike thrower in the minor leagues, so he usually boasted an excellent strikeout/walk ratio. Could be used as a closer in the minors, as well. Owned a very good curveball for MLB. Had elbow problems early on in his career, which stalled his development somewhat. While he possessed a great fastball, he lacked command of the strike zone with it.
Long Range Potential: Hard-throwing right-hander (when healthy).
