A powerful slasher who could create his own shot with ease. Loved driving the lane and was willing to pay the price, piling up free-throw attempts at prodigious rates (and then hitting those freebies). Could dominate as a scorer inside and out. Was also a good rebounder and a great athlete. All his drives to the hoop contributed to an uncommon number of injuries. He didn't use his supreme athleticism on defense like he could have, and wasn't a dependable 3-point threat. Could get turnover-prone and foul-prone for stretches.
