'The Truth' was an elite scorer from all over the court, a team-first passer, and an above-average rebounder and defender. He was also one of the NBA's most clutch performers, and would carry his squad with big plays at both ends of the floor when it mattered most. Talked a big game and backed it up. A team leader. He was streaky for stretches, and with age he became much more a perimeter shooter whose minutes needed limiting. Turnovers were always an issue, and over time he declined as a defensive stopper too.
