He was one of the best receiving tailbacks in the game: a sure-handed target who knew how to run routes and get open for his QB. He saw openings in the defense very well, and excelled at exploiting them. He additionally brought superb size for an NFL running back, helping him as a receiver and at running the ball inside. Wasn't explosively fast in the open field, and a series of knee injuries sapped him of even more speed. He could get a bit predictable when the offense wasn't running pass options for him, and he was never a major goal-line threat.
