Scouting Report
Supremely smart, efficient and reliable as a go-to inside receiver and punt returner, he was quick and elusive with decent speed in the open field. Worked hard throughout the play and was pretty consistent in whatever role he took on. Was a good and busy blocker. Was one of the most clutch performers of his era. Undersized for a possession receiver, he did not really make up for it with deep-play ability. Durability was always an issue with him, and it ultimately led to his retirement from the NFL.
Long Range Potential: Outstanding slot receiver and punt returner (when healthy).
