A pure cover corner with enough athleticism, fluidity, and speed to stay with most wideouts. Shows good intensity and reaction ability sticking to his man. Strong for his size, and does a solid job stepping up from the secondary and making tackles against the run. Also has big hands for his size, which help him poach the occasional pickoff. Somewhat undersized for the pro secondary in terms of height, length, and weight--which hurts him in jump ball situations. Not the type of cornerback who's constantly around the ball, busting up plays and jumping routes. Has some history of injury and off-field issues.
