Was aware and hard-working throughout his route, and adjusted well to changes in the play to get open for his quarterback. Was reliable catching the ball in most situations: he received it in stride without slowing down and battled well in traffic. Lacked explosiveness in both long speed and short-area quickness. While solidly built, he was not a jumbo-sized target for a possession guy, which limited him against hulking linebackers. Could be a bit streaky. Injuries played a role here and prematurely ended his playing career.
