Productive and busy as a tackler, he used his exceptionally long arms, big hands and explosive acceleration to size up ball-carriers and take them down. Showed strength and was big overall for a linebacker. Was able to get into the backfield as well to pressure quarterbacks. Had a high motor, grit, battle and leadership on and off the field. Did not quite have the speed or athletic fluidity to dominate on the inside (especially when asked to drop back and cover tight ends and wide receivers), and was not a top-tier pass rusher when on the outside. Did not do enough work on the little things to better deal with NFL speed and athleticism.

Long Range Potential: Hard-working, thumping rotational linebacker.
