Aggressive, intense, and a strong playmaker in the secondary. Has a real knack for the interception, making nice breaks on the ball and showing excellent ball skills for the pickoff. Well-sized for a safety, and uses all of his frame well in piling up tackles and in being physical with receivers. Also steps up well against the run and on the safety blitz. Too much of a gambler at times, and doesn't have top-tier speed to make up for mistaken guesses. Too often defaults to playing moving forward (looking for either the pickoff, the tackle, or the jam) and struggles at times dropping back and provide pure coverage.
