One of the top interception threats to ever play the game, he was an exceptional athlete: amazingly smooth, with great hip movement and excellent speed. Could turn on a dime. More than just a pickoff artist, he was aggressive at the line and throughout routes. Was also a good blitzer. Proved he could star at both cornerback and safety. Was better man to man than in zone coverage, and would sometimes lean too much on his excellent anticipation skills (which led to some wrong guesses at times and getting burned by speedy receivers). Despite great interception skills, he should have returned more picks to the house than he did in the NFL.
Long Range Potential: Hall of famer as a versatile, playmaking defensive back.
