Was the consummate one-on-one shutdown cornerback. Was physical and did not shy away from top competition, constantly disrupting receivers on 'Revis Island'. Ran and cut well. Had sound technique and tracked the ball extremely well. Could be a regular interception threat (when teams actually threw his way). Was a bit of a slow reactor at times, especially later in his career. As he got older, the interceptions dried up. Struggled to get better at making plays in front of him and never was much of a run-stuffer. Could be inconsistent as a tackler and miss some plays. His physical style also contributed to his durability issues.

Long Range Potential: One of the all-time great cornerbacks.
