Scouting Report
Was excellent defending the pass: read the quarterback well, adjusted in space and could get his share of interceptions. Was disciplined in zone coverage and a good hitter who brought some pop to the secondary. Had significant trouble with the NFL's substance abuse policy, which shortened his career. Was not big or fast and did not have the great vision of the entire field needed to regularly step up on running schemes. Was slow to react at times, and could miss tackles.
Long Range Potential: Talented but very troubled safety.
