Owns a projectable frame and some power forward tendencies. Is also versatile enough to play either center or wing. Works the corners of the ice well and also displays pretty good acceleration. Plays with an active stick. Does a lot of damage in front of the opposing goal and can be considered a 'garbage' goal-scorer. Needs to fill out his big (6-3) frame even more in order to maximize his power game at the highest level. May not have enough playmaking acumen to stick as a center in the National Hockey League, so he may be better suited to a wing position. Also, he is somewhat raw and a project who may need time to develop.
