Zboril, along with a 2027 third-round pick, was acquired by Columbus from Boston in exchange for Andrew Peeke on Friday, according to Chris Johnston of The Athletic.
Scouting Report
The No. 13 pick in the 2015 NHL Draft is moving into the prime of his career but is still trying to show that he can hold down a full-time role on an NHL blue line. Is a decent skater and puck mover whose agility enables him to step up in the neutral zone and break up plays. Must continue to increase his compete level in order to take that final step in his development at the highest level.
Long Range Potential: Depth defenseman with some upside.
