Scouting Report
Owns a very projectable frame and plenty of defensive polish from the center position. Is good at winning draws and is the type of player coaches rely on heavily in the National Hockey League. Skates very well. Does he have enough scoring upside in order to play a top-six forward role at the highest level? The jury is still out. While he is a very safe and reliable player, his long-range upside doesn't really wow scouts.
Long Range Potential: Depth forward.
