Packed a mean wallop and was willing to rumble with anyone--at any time. Knew his role. Could take regular shifts from time to time without embarrassing himself. Did not have the requisite skills to be more than a fourth liner. Could lose his cool on the ice, which hindered his team on a few occasions. Was in serious decline.
