Scouting Report
Was still a first-rate playmaker up until his retirement, though he was not as fast as he was in his prime. He manned the point on the power play like a quarterback, though he was always more likely to pass than shoot. He had the vision and strength that made him an elite player during his prime years, and was always among the NHL's best leaders. Not surprisingly, his offensive numbers declined over the years.
