Has great size (6'4", 219 pounds) for a National Hockey League defenseman, plus plenty of physicality in his game. Usually keeps things simple and limits mistakes in his own end. Does not own a lot of puck skills, so he does his best work away from the offensive zone--which can limit his ice time at the highest level. Must continue to improve his footwork.
