Pearson had an assist, four shots on net and two penalty minutes over 12:50 of ice time in Thursday's 7-4 loss to the Rangers.
Scouting Report
His hockey sense is still good, even as his offensive skills have eroded somewhat. His off-the-puck game has improved to compensate for a decline in his offensive numbers. He can force turnovers and is willing (and big enough) to give up his body when needed. Consistency remains an issue for him, especially in terms of his production numbers.
Long Range Potential: Solid two-way winger.
