SATORANSKY SENT TO CHICAGO

The Chicago Bulls acquired guard Tomas Satoransky from the Washington Wizards for a second-round draft pick in 2020 and the right to swap second-round draft picks in 2022.

What does it give the Chicago Bulls
The Bulls were reportedly interested in bringing in veteran point guard Patrick Beverley, but the latter decided to stay with the Clippers. Therefore, Satoransky was acquired via trade as Chicago's plan B. The Czech guard will probably start at the 1 ahead of 2019 first-rounder Coby White. Kris Dunn is likely on the move as a result of Satoransky's arrival.

What does it give the Washington Wizards
For the Wizards, this deal makes some sense with news that the team signed both Ish Smith and Isaiah Thomas to plug the point guard hole while John Wall recovers from Achilles tendon surgery. So, Satoransky was dispatched to Chicago in exchange for a second-rounder and the possibility to swap a future second-rounder with the Bulls.

Fantasy impact
Satoransky's fantasy value may take a bit of a dip here, as White is sure to cut into his playing time in Chicago. Dunn and Ryan Arcidiacono are also still around for the time being. As for the Wizards' point guard duo, neither Smith nor Thomas are great fantasy options heading into 2019-20.
