JERAMI GRANT GOES TO PORTLAND

The Portland Trail Blazers acquired forward Jerami Grant, a second-round draft pick in 2022 (Ismael Kamagate) and a second-round draft pick in 2025 from the Detroit Pistons for a protected first-round draft pick in 2025, a second-round draft pick in 2022 (Gabriele Procida) and a conditional second-round draft pick in 2026.

What does it give the Portland Trail Blazers
In Grant, the Trail Blazers land a very solid forward who should give Portland another scoring option. At 6'8", Grant is versatile enough to play either forward position. The Blazers did well to land Grant here.

What does it give the Detroit Pistons
Detroit decided to move Grant partly because of the presence of forwards Saddiq Bey and Marvin Bagley III. They will receive a '25 first-round pick, which is protected for the first four picks in that draft.

Fantasy impact
Grant is good value from a fantasy perspective. He had value as a member of the Pistons but should be even better with Portland, mostly because he will not have to share minutes with the likes of Bey and Bagley III.
