DUARTE DEALT TO SACRAMENTO

The Sacramento Kings acquired forward/guard Chris Duarte from the Indiana Pacers for a second-round draft pick in 2028 and a second-round draft pick in 2030.

What does it give the Sacramento Kings
Duarte was stuck among a plethora of wings in Indiana, so a fresh start in Sacramento could help jump-start his career. He will likely come off the bench and provide scoring to the second unit. He is a good addition for a relatively low price.

What does it give the Indiana Pacers
The Pacers decided to move Duarte out for a pair of second-round picks down the road. The arrival of Bruce Brown via free agency, as well as Bennedict Mathurin's impressive showing as a rookie last season, likely sealed Duarte's fate in Indiana.

Fantasy impact
Duarte may be worth a late-round flier in some fantasy leagues this year, but that is about it. He needs to fully establish himself as a quality bench option before he become more worthy.
