CLIPPERS DEAL FOR KRIS DUNN

The Los Angeles Clippers acquired guard Kris Dunn from the Utah Jazz for guard Russell Westbrook, center Balsa Koprivica, the right to swap second-round draft picks in 2030 and cash considerations.

What does it give the Los Angeles Clippers
In Dunn, the Clippers are adding a younger guard to back up veteran James Harden. He essentially replaces Westbrook off the bench and is clearly viewed by LA as an upgrade. Is he?

What does it give the Utah Jazz
The Jazz decided to do a sign-and-trade deal with Dunn here, which resulted in not much in return. Westbrook will be bought out by Utah, while Koprovica will remain in Europe for now.

Fantasy impact
Dunn's fantasy value is not great because he will continue to come off the bench in Los Angeles. There should be better fantasy options out there.
