QUANDRE DIGGS DEALT TO SEATTLE

The Seattle Seahawks acquired safety Quandre Diggs and a seventh-round draft pick in 2020 from the Detroit Lions for a fifth-round draft pick in 2020.

What does it give the Seattle Seahawks
Seattle must be feeling uneasy about the status of safety Bradley McDougald, who missed Week 7 due to a back injury. Enter Diggs, who might be forced to start at strong safety immediately instead of rookie Marquise Blair in Week 8.

What does it give the Detroit Lions
For Detroit, this deal is interesting because Diggs was a starting safety for the Lions when healthy for every game since 2018. They will get back a fifth-rounder in '20 from Seattle, while also moving a seventh-rounder the other way.

Fantasy impact
Diggs may have slight IDP appeal with the Seahawks but he is not a recommended option at this point.
