RAIDERS DEAL DAVID SHARPE TO WASHINGTON

The Washington Football Team acquired offensive lineman David Sharpe and a seventh-round draft pick in 2021 from the Las Vegas Raiders for a sixth-round draft pick in 2021.

What does it give the Washington Commanders
Sharpe, who turns 25 next month, can play both tackle and guard. In three NFL campaigns, he totals four starts and 24 overall games played. He could push for a starting job at either tackle spot immediately, while also providing depth.

What does it give the Las Vegas Raiders
Obviously, the Raiders felt comfortable about their offensive line depth going into the 2020 campaign. Otherwise, they probably would not have dealt Sharpe at this time. Las Vegas only received a one-round upgrade in this deal.

Fantasy impact
While Sharpe might help Washington's porous O-line, the club's fantasy prospects are not great on offense. This trade should not change much. The Raiders will not be affected, either.
