NYHEIM HINES HEADED TO BUFFALO
The Buffalo Bills acquired running back Nyheim Hines from the Indianapolis Colts for running back Zack Moss and a conditional fifth-round draft pick in 2023.
What does it give the Buffalo Bills
Veteran Hines gives Buffalo a proven pass-catching option out of the backfield. He will move ahead of rookie James Cook, who is unlikely to see much action barring injury to either Hines or starter Devin Singletary. Hines makes the Super Bowl favorites even stronger.
What does it give the Indianapolis Colts
In Moss, the Colts get a running back who could become Jonathan Taylor's direct backup in Indianapolis. His presence may allow Indy to utilize Taylor a lot more in the passing game. The Colts are struggling badly this season, so they may already be looking ahead to 2023.
Fantasy impact
Pick up Hines and Moss in most fantasy leagues, if available. Hines should become a factor in PPR formats, especially, while Moss has plenty of appeal as a possible handcuff for Taylor fantasy owners.
