VAN JEFFERSON JOINS THE FALCONS

The Atlanta Falcons acquired wide receiver Van Jefferson and a seventh-round draft pick in 2025 from the Los Angeles Rams for a sixth-round draft pick in 2025.

What does it give the Atlanta Falcons
In Jefferson, the Falcons get a talented wide receiver who was somewhat underutilized in Los Angeles. He might be able to upgrade Atlanta's wide receiver group this season.

What does it give the Los Angeles Rams
With Cooper Kupp back from injury, the Rams will now move forward with young talents like Puka Nacua and Tutu Atwell in support of Kupp. They felt comfortable moving on from Jefferson.

Fantasy impact
Jefferson had become a fantasy afterthought in LA, so perhaps a move to Atlanta will jump-start his value. That said, he remains a very risky proposition in most fantasy leagues.
