JEUDY BROUGHT IN BY THE BROWNS
The Cleveland Browns acquired wide receiver Jerry Jeudy from the Denver Broncos for a fifth-round draft pick in 2024 (No. 135 overall) and a sixth-round draft pick in 2024 (No. 202 overall).
What does it give the Cleveland Browns
The Browns are getting a quality wide receiver to play opposite Amari Cooper in Jeudy. The latter should provide even more weapons for a Cleveland team looking to take the next step on the offensive side of the ball. While the Browns will probably remain a run-first offense, they now have more options for quarterback Deshaun Watson to work with in the passing game.
What does it give the Denver Broncos
This deal enables the Broncos to alleviate some of their excess at the wide receiver position. Either Jeudy or Courtland Sutton was expected to be dealt this off-season, and now one of them is gone. Will Denver keep Sutton or move him as well? Young wideout Marvin Mims should become a bigger part of Denver's offense in 2024, although the quarterback position is murky.
Fantasy impact
Jeudy should continue to be a solid fantasy wide receiver, but Cleveland's propensity to run the football should knock him down a few rounds in many fantasy leagues this year.
