BROWNS BRING BACK CENTER HARRIS
The Cleveland Browns acquired center Nick Harris and a seventh-round draft pick in 2026 from the Seattle Seahawks for a sixth-round draft pick in 2026.
What does it give the Cleveland Browns
After Luke Wypler was injured in preseason action, the Browns were in need of additional depth at center. They get just that in Harris, who returns to Cleveland after signing with Seattle in the off-season. A member of the Browns since 2020, Harris will again be an option behind starting center Ethan Pocic.
What does it give the Seattle Seahawks
Harris was likely competing only for a reserve job in Seattle after they signed center Connor Williams. Harris did not have much trade value either, so the Seahawks did well by at least getting an upgrade in the draft (a swap of late-round draft picks in the 2026 selection process).
