The Chicago Bears acquired defensive tackle/nose tackle Chris Williams and a seventh-round draft pick in 2025 from the Cleveland Browns for a sixth-round draft pick in 2025.

For the Bears, Williams will provide solid depth along the defensive line. He stands a good chance to crack the final 53-man roster after being acquired so late into the preseason.
