SAINTS SHIP WR STILLS TO MIAMI

The Miami Dolphins acquired wide receiver Kenny Stills from the New Orleans Saints for linebacker Dannell Ellerbe and a third-round draft pick in 2015.

What does it give the Miami Dolphins
In Stills, the Dolphins land a solid receiver who should help replace the departed {P Brian Hartline} quite nicely. He will probably line up on the outside opposite {P Mike Wallace} (assuming the latter remains in Miami), with second-year man {P Jarvis Landry} playing the role of slot receiver. Stills is just 22 years old, so he has plenty of untapped upside.

What does it give the New Orleans Saints
For the Saints, the purge continues. New Orleans is changing their team quite a bit this off-season, with the appearance of shifting from a pass-happy squad to more of a run-oriented offense. With veteran {P Drew Brees} at the helm, that may not be the case. Landing a third rounder and versatile veteran linebacker for Stills continues the team's facelift.

Fantasy impact
Stills goes from Brees to {P Ryan Tannehill} as his quarterback, and he goes from indoors (Mercedes-Benz Superdome) to outside (Sun Life Stadium), so his fantasy fortunes are in slight decline following this deal. His departure could mean more receptions for {P Nick Toon} in New Orleans, though.
